The Overachieving Illustrator: Blair Breitenstein 

We're beyond excited to unveil our latest obsession: The Overachiever Brightening Eye Masks, small but mighty must-haves that brighten dark circles, reduce puffiness, smooth fine lines and minimize the appearance of crow’s feet. Made for the overachievers, by the overachievers.

In preparation for the launch, we teamed up with the insanely talented illustrator Blair Breitenstein (@blairz) to design a custom piece inspired by our muse, founder, and fellow overachiever Molly Sims. 

Blair’s work has graced the pages of fashion magazines (from Harper's Bazaar to Vogue Korea) and caught the eye of fashion legends like Oscar de la Renta — and her client list couldn't be more iconic (think: Prada, Chanel, Saks Fifth Avenue, and so many more). As an artist, business owner, and mom, Blair is the definition of an overachiever. 

"I was so excited to have the opportunity to create a drawing for YISE Beauty. I used my typical combination of pastel, marker and watercolor, with Molly serving as my muse," Blair explained. "And with the the theme of 'overachiever' in mind, I went to work. Since both Molly and I swear by coffee for peak productivity, I made sure to sneak a coffee cup into the drawing."

The iconic illustrator takes most of her inspo from high-fashion photography… but with a quirky spin. She spontaneously creates layered watercolor prints with messy, smudged lines, for a fresh take on fashion.

Her Overachiever illustration is just so Molly, which she noted was particular fun to create, given the similarities both overachievers share. "I know Molly's all about a red lip, which totally resonates with me. The stripes are also a nod to both of our styles."

And if there's anything that says Molly Sims, it's the idea that you can combine simple, sophisticated and chic into just one outfit... which Blair couldn't have captured better.

Now, of course, we introduced Blair to the full YISE Beauty lineup, which she said was a fun change-up to to her usual fashion projects... Yes, it's a fabulous life, indeed.

Now, Blair's favorite YISE product? Your Favorite Ex Pads — because, naturally, our award-winner takes the inevitable win. With extremely busy days and a consistently packed schedule, she says these pads have become the perfect and (quick!) staple to her AM routine.
